Sr. WordPress Developer - Digital Marketing Services - EverCommerce
Atlanta (Remote) - May 2017 – December 2022
  • Developed the workflow process using Git, Terminus, Docker and Lando to communicate between our local server, Pantheon server, Pantheon GitHub and our local GitHub to update all our brand sites at once.
  • Developed a PHP WordPress plugin solution that stores variables for reuse across the sites which solved our ongoing issue with disabled cookies and PHP sessions.
  • Developed Auto Menu PHP and JavaScript WordPress plugin that creates main navigation menu based on published pages and parent and child relationship hierarchy.
  • Developed JavaScript to capture URL cross domain data over the iframe then created a Json Data Layer that is sent to Tag Manager which sorts the object values and reports them to Analytics.
  • Developed form that transferred data to 3 different API data collection sites including a custom CRM, Newsletter delivery site and Shopping cart.
  • Developed PHP code to scrape content out of onboarding brands with existing websites.
  • DevOps updates Using GitHub and CircleCi to kick off automatic WordPress updates to the server then checking those updates against regression testing and lighthouse then reporting them to Slack a channel.
  • Improved over all page speed for all our brands by 25 to 50%.
